On behalf of the North Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals’ Board
of Directors and the 2021 Conference Committee, I want to personally invite you to attend the 2021 NCAEOP Annual Conference. With the impact of COVID-19 and a “new normal”, school support staff are at the forefront of improving quality and safety of our students and families, and the needs of the broader education system. Our value proposition has never been greater and at no point in time has the need to enhance our personal and professional skills been more important.

Join us on March 16-19, 2021 at the Hilton North Raleigh Midtown, 3415 Wake Forest
Road, Raleigh NC. There will be limited in-person attendance based on the gathering restrictions in place at the time of the conference. Due to the continuing pandemic, you can attend our 2021 conference virtually! We wish we could all be together, yet we believe this is the next best thing and we look forward to connecting with each one of you as we provide opportunity for professional development. We are proud to offer enlightening and diverse general sessions from some outstanding presenters crossing the auspices of our industry. You can also expect breakout sessions that will be timely, a minimum of 8 PSP credit hours, networking opportunities with peers, sponsors, and fun! Yes, FUN!

The registration fee for active members is $150; $75 for retirees. Why a registration
fee? We are not having a Zoom meeting, but rather a professional conference as we
always have. There are many conference costs, and the registration fee enables us to sponsor this event. Contrary to beliefs, the registration fee pays for more than just
meals. Look at it this way: we are trading meals for the internet, technicians and equipment–ALL needed to have the caliber of conference that we are accustomed too. Please, do what is necessary to attend.

Oh, do not worry if you have never attended a virtual conference. We will provide
detailed instructions on how to navigate the platform and make the most out of your
virtual experience – be sure to join us for the Tuesday night Happy Hour when we will
review the conference apps! We will introduce the platform and show you around. There will be an Event Game you can play throughout the conference to earn points! Join us Wednesday evening for Virtual Trivia! On Friday, we will announce Dollar$ for Scholars winners and door prizes! And do not forget the awarding of our EOP and AOY of the Year, and Scholarship winners. Additional information will be provided as soon as we are able to launch the app.

I thank each of you in advance for attending our conference this year and for your engagement in this platform to bring us all together. You are appreciated; continue to BELIEVE, ACHIEVE, and pivot to a future filled with opportunities to SUCCEED.
